Better than the rest!!! Sep 13, 2007

This is the new wireless headset designed around Halo3 it works way better than all the other headsets made for the 360. They fixed the connection problems with the unit meaning (No More Droped or lagged connections), Increased Batt life (Meaning longer playtime than the origional) and best of all it's a Halo3 product which looks pretty cool and high tech when battling online & chatting. A perfect item for any Halo fan!!

Much improved Oct 17, 2007
By E. Treesh I bought this to replace the wireless headset I got last year. The original headset was great when it worked. The range is fine and the sound is clear. The first one would fade out for 30 seconds to one minute once or twice a night. Once every five or six nights my team mates would ask me to turn it off because of the static. I've used the this head set for about a month and it has only faded out once in that time and I have had no complaints about static. The range and the sound are at least as good as the original.

Terrible Durability, Four Dead Headsets Dec 17, 2007

I am an adult and careful with my stuff but still I have been through four wireless headsets and all had the same problem, after a month or two they just won't charge anymore. The store keeps replacing them and they tell me it is an extremely common problem. It's really too bad because the headset is comfortable, the sound quality is excellent both ways but they just abruptly die. Microsoft used to have a reputation for excellent hardware but with the 360 era their reputation is taking a beating.

Nice headset even if your not into Halo Sep 28, 2007

I bought this because the wired headset was driving me crazy. I kept getting the wire caught on stuff and yanking out of the controller. I have only used it a couple of times but its very comfortable and the sound quality is better than the standard headset.

It was great...while it worked. Mar 10, 2008
By SparkStalker I loved this headset. It had great sound quality, it was comfortable, and it had a good battery life. Up until it died, one month or so out of warranty. There was no damage to it, it hasn't been dropped, or gotten wet, or anything. It was just sitting on a table. It worked fine two nights ago, and tonight, nothing. No power. I plugged it in to the USB charger that came with it. Nothing. No lights to indicate it was charging. So I plugged it into my PC to see if it was a bad USB port. No dice. I tried my cellphone charger, nothing. So here I am, with a completely dead, four month old, $60 headset.
I think I'll go back to a wired one. At least when they die, they're cheaper to replace.
