Nice idea, but... May 11, 2008

The Xbox 360 Rechargeable Controller Battery was a great idea, however the life of this battery is very poor. On average I'm only able to get around 3 to 4 hours of game time and then it's time to recharge again. It's possible I could have a defective battery, but I have friends that report the same. There is no light indication if the battery is charged (minor detail) or not, just have to go off the manual time for recharge. I've stopped using it and have just put in rechargeable AA batteries and I get so much more out of them. Would not recommend this product.

Not Worth It Jul 30, 2010
By Benjamin S. Finch This device may be a cheaper alternative to the normal charge but the official Xbox one lasted me 2 years. This one only lasted me 2 months, literally. The battery stops holding a charge and you constantly have to keep it plugged in. Its honestly a far better choice to just buy the official Xbox one for a few months more.

The only type of Controller charger you'll need Jun 04, 2008
By Cabernet Nguyen Now I don't see why anyone would go out an buy an xbox 360 controller recharger for thirty bucks when they can buy this. the other recharger require that you take out the battery pack and place it on the recharging dock, and when that happens you had better have 2 battery packs or you won't be playing for a good hour or so, I say this because I have tried the other controller rechargers out there and this one is by far the most convenient. In stead of having to take out the battery pack when the batteries are dead in your wireless controller all you have to do is plug this usb cord which comes with the recharger into your xbox and you have a wired controller, and all the while you are playing the controller will slowly charge back up, it will recharge even faster if you are not playing. I must say though the battery life for this may be just a tad bit shorter than other ones but being able to play and charge at the same time is well worth the hack off of a half hour of battery life. This charger is also very portable as well, just a rechargeable battery pack and a USB cord. One gripe I have about this may be its durability (well it was my fault though) but I would advise against having the battery charged at all times in your xbox, for it may overheat and the batteries will last 5 minutes top when you overcharge (but you gotta be charging for a week nonstop for that to happen)
Buy Official Microsoft Battery Pack! Apr 24, 2011
By Not Easy 2 Please This was a complete waste of money! Charged but does not make a connection to the controller. You get what you pay for! You are better off spending a little more and get the Microsoft Battery Pack for XBOX! This one is just a headache! Live and Learn! Glad it was cheap enough that I can just throw it in the recycle bin without killing the piggy bank!!!
xbox 360 charging kit gets the job Sep 12, 2009

The product comes with a USB cable and a rechargeable battery. Instead of buying batteries you can use the usb cable to let it charge for 1 hour or so. The bad side would be as your playing a game it's hard to charge it since the cable tends to come off easily. The battery pack is pretty durable haven't had any trouble at all while playing some games. I recommend people who have an xbox 360 controller to buy this product instead of spending money on new batteries since eventually it will run out.
Overall i give it a 8.0 for durability and long life the negative is that it's hard to charge and play at the same time cause the wire pops out each time.
