5WOW!  Aug 29, 2009 By P. B. Sharp
Pure Hidden is an incredible potpourri of activities from a hidden object pop art collage of superman floating in a Las Vegas skyline, to a beautiful leafy scene full of diabolically hidden butterflies, to magnificent assemblies of Ukrainian eggs, to funny puzzles like connecting a series of water pipes, to creating your own artistic masterpiece with stencils and paints. Many of the mini-games are easy enough for kids but the hidden objects in cartoon like environments are incredibly hard to find ( 30 or more items) so a kid and an adult can play side by side with great mutual contentment and joy.

There is no plot, you are not breaking a wicked curse, chasing a villain or finding an absent-minded professor's glasses. Each completed level adds flowers and fruit to a graceful tree, which you build as you go along.

Pure Hidden is really one big activity box, highly original, visually stunning and just plain fun, even quirky, a gem for the young and young at heart!

5Super fun...Beautiful images  Jan 03, 2010 By Staci Page "gamer by night"
I was amazed at the quality of this game. The scenery is beautiful and the game is great! I've played several hidden object games, and this one is by far the best. It's not just the same scenes over and over again where you find the same objects. Each scene is completely different and the objects can sometimes be tough to find. Plus, there are other games mixed in along the way. There are mixed up photos to straighten up, broken pipe games, and other random puzzles. There is one "decorate your bathroom" game that pops up several times along the way where you just set out a candle or something else kind of random, but other than those, the game is great. There is no plot to the game, so there's no kooky "help the princess" or anything else, just some really great puzzles. Plus, this game wasn't super-short like some I've played. It is just an all-around great hidden object game. Play for 10 minutes at a time or play for hours.

5Something Different  Aug 29, 2009 By LH422
With the variety of hidden object games on the market, many of which are copycats, I'm looking for something a bit different in hidden object games these days. And Pure Hidden provies that something different. Through a series of hidden object and puzzle levels, players interact with scenes that are works of art. With a clear Asian influence, many of the scenes contain Asian objects, or works of Asian art. It's hard to adequately describe the scenes and objects presented, but I strongly recommend everyone who enjoys hidden object games try at least the free trial. This really is not your stock hidden object game.

3can I have half my money back please?  Nov 29, 2009 By Mandi
I might be spoiled by Amazon's 6.99 downloads, because after finishing this game within a week of purchasing it I don't feel like it's a good value at all. Of course, this is comparing it to same-priced games like Burger Shop 2 and Monarch the Butterfly King, games that not only suck you in but are able to provide enough game to keep you playing for weeks straight. Pure Hidden is fun, it's not addicting to me because I don't find picture-find games addicting, but it is a game that I've enjoyed playing. The scenes which hide the pictures are different than what you find in a typical picture find game. The main pictures are gorgeous. I would even say they are works of art that one might frame and put on their wall. They aren't basic scenes with images of items cut out and scattered all over the place, rather they are well thought out and designed to cleverly hide the items within them, making them quite challenging. So far I've had to use the cheat tool to find at least one of the items in almost all of the scenes.

Unfortunately, I feel like the overall setup of the game was a total miss. Working to complete your gallery of scenes that you have finished (which you can install as a desktop background after you do) has nice appeal, but there is A LOT of filler in between the picture-find scenes, which consists of mini-games and mini-puzzles, some of which are completely pointless. For example, the "decorate your bathroom" activity--this one shows up multiple times as a "mini-game" but each time you're only given an option of one item to be put in a predetermined place, and ding, you're done for that one and it moves you on to the next puzzle. Totally pointless. Some of the mini-games have a really neat concept, like bursting the bubbles to play a song, but there is no goal whatsoever, and after about 15 seconds you get bored after realizing there's no challenge to it and hit next to move on, which you could have done in the first 5 seconds of the mini-game. A few of the mini-games are implemented with some really innovative ideas, like the "find the difference games" where you use your mouse to turn the 3D image and look at it from all sides. Now if there had been more of these in place of the pointless mini-games, then I think Pure Hidden would have been much more fulfilling. Unfortunately, Pure Hidden seemed to end as soon as it started. Overall, if you have 6.99 to spend and you're trying to find a game that will keep you engaged for more than a week, keep looking. Amazon has tons of 6.99 game downloads that last an eternity compared to this one.

5Pure Pleasure!  May 24, 2010 By J. Vandonzel
Beautifully simple yet quite artistically drawn, silly at times, this game is the perfect blend of difficulty vs. enjoyment for me.
If you're an artist at heart, or just someone who appreciates it, try it. Working in an office and need some escapism? This is it. Crying kids? To-Do list way too long? Play a few rounds of Pure Hidden. Never boring, always beautiful- I found myself laughing and shrugging my shoulders one minute, and mired deep in addicting challenges the next. The soundtrack is great. Oh- and my favorite thing was popping bubbles. If you play the game, you'll know the part I'm referring to.

(and heck,... it's free to try!)
