This headset is incredible for only 1$ + S&H, the mic is the exact same as the original xbox 360 headset!
the only flaw is that the quality of the sound isnt that great but you can still hear the other person just fine
ALSO!!! the mic isnt very long! the mic only reaches to the edge of my lips, but this is only bad for the people who have professional headsets and are used to having there mic right in front of them. This isnt a problem all you gotta do is fold the mic in a curve so your cheek doesnt block the mic.
OVERALL this is the best headset you can get for this price!

I needed a couple of headsets after my dog chewed mine and my little brothers'. I seen these were reasonably priced and had great reviews, do I ordered them. They got here when expected and they fit perfectly into the proper port. Plus I like that the volume control is right with the controller. Easy to access instead of chasing it on the cord and it secures the headset to the controller great. The only thing I don't like is the fact that the mic is on the left after being used to one with it on the right. And the fact it fits a bit tightly. But I do have a rather large head. Otherwise, it works just as well as the original headset and good for gamers on a budget like me.

I got a few of these headsets recently. They work well. Only occasionally I get a crackle from them which seems to emit that as if I spoke. So, people in a game might hear it crackle.
It hasn't been non-stop. It's happened a couple of times. For the price though you can't beat it.
I had a wireless headset, but that recently got lost or mis-placed. These won't be so easy to lose!

I ordered this with a leftover $5 gift card balance, and chose it because I needed a new Xbox headset. There weren't a lot of reviews so I was a little skeptical, but ordered it anyway. I don't do a lot of reviews but just wanted to say how much this product exceeded my expectations. The sound isn't exactly Turtle Beach quality, but this is $1, not $50. The mic works great and there is little to no static. The only time I've heard anything like feedback is when it is plugged in on the highest volume with nobody talking. It is comfortable but may take a little getting used to if you're used to something with lots of cushioning, but after maybe 15 minutes you don't even notice it. The only thing I didn't love was the plastic on the right side (speaker is on the left side)- It doesn't have any padding and can be annoying, especially for long periods of time. I wear it a little small so that it doesn't jut into my ear.No problems with the seller, I received it on time with no need to contact them.
